Why Does The Camera Add 10 Pounds?

This topic has been covered to death, but to keep things short and to the point — when it comes to perspective in video, the closer you are to your subject, the more narrow their face will appear. The further the camera from the subject, the flatter/wider the subject will look. Whenever you’re close, the face will appear narrower than if you are farther back (the focal length on your lens doesn’t matter).
