The BlackKklansman Screenplay

This movie was directed by Spike Lee and (based on a true story) is about Ron Stallworth, an African-American police officer from Colorado, and how he successfully managed to infiltrate the local Ku Klux Klan and became the head of the local chapter.

At the time of this posting, the movie has currently won various awards such as The Grand Prize of the Jury in Cannes 2018 (along with a standing ovation) and has been nominated for a Golden Globe and Screen Actors guild Award.

Spike Lee dedicated the film to the life of Heather Heyer.¬†Heyer was the woman who was fatally hit by a car while protesting the “Unite the Right” rally held on August 12, 2017 in Charlottesville, VA. The movie also premiered domestically on August 10, 2018 to mark the one-year anniversary of the rally and her death.
